Missing Mom ‘n’ Dad

All those of us who don’t have the privilege of the presence of our deceased parents on the occasion of our marriage should not lose heart, but rather try to invoke their memories on the very special day.

Although the idea of using the deceased parents name on the invitation might raise the brows of the superstitious lot, but there are other ways of remembering them as well. One may request the arrangement of a remembrance table dedicated to their honor and place their pictures on it. Others may choose placing a single white rose on the empty seat that would have been occupied by their parents. Some may even choose to mention them in the wedding announcement.

Honoring deceased parents is a very emotional affair and the bride and groom should carefully plan it in accordance to their preference.
