Can you tell me more about the military weddings?

I am about to get married by next year and that is why I am searching for the themes that I can choose from. Someone suggested the military weddings, but I don't know anything about the military weddings other than that it includes uniforms. Can you please tell me more about this wedding. Thanks so much.

Military weddings are one of the most sought after weddings and have a class and style to them which make them an edge over the other weddings. Even my sister got married in the military wedding manner and I must say that military weddings have style and class in to them. There is a ceremony that is conducted in a military chapel and may involve swords as a tradition. In most military weddings the groom, bride, or both will wear a uniform according to the service of the groom in place of a civilian formal wear, although the military dresses serve the same purpose in the wedding ceremony. Some retired military personnel who marry post service also usually opt for military weddings. The receptions often take place at officers or enlisted clubs on the installation, or you can have a nice traditional hotel or a restaurant reception for that matter. The guests belonging to military are shown to their seats in order of their rank. They also play some regimental music, including the theme song. Various decorations could include American flags.The main attraction of a a military reception comes when the couple cut the cake using a sword, that belongs to the groom if he has one. The groom gives it to the bride and she cuts a slice of the wedding cake.
