What is an idle 35th wedding anniversary gift for parents?

My parent’s 35th wedding anniversary is soon, and my brother and I are thinking of some suitable gift for both of them. Although, my sister has arranged for a close family tea party at her place for our parents and family, we brothers are still thinking about gift. I would like to know from somebody whether what should we guys give away as a gift to them, as we have already presented a CD of their growing as parents on their 30th wedding anniversary! Can somebody please advice?

I would suggest that this time you think in some other direction and give them things which they appreciate as individual’s rather than your parents. You can give them a tour package voucher, for instance. You must be aware of the destinations where they want to go on a vacation. You can simply arrange one such vacation for them. If that seems to be an expensive idea then you can go for its cheaper variant also. Like you can simply think of some nearby place like a resort or something where they can go over the weekend and can enjoy each other's company and celebrate their togetherness.

You can also give them something which they can keep in the room and cherish forever. Like a digital photo frame with a collection of few of their best photographs together. If your parents like ethnic things then maybe you can gift them some ethnic showpieces in silver, copper or brass like a silver candle stand or brass elephants for decorating in their room.

Else, you can also give them things of personal use like some good perfume or a voucher of a good spa package. Spending time together in a spa will be real fun for them and your parents will cherish the gift forever.
